FDA Compliant Blood Bag Labels

Improve patient safety with the latest advances in label and bar code solutions.

Winco Identification Corp offers Blood Bag labels that are made of flexible synthetic materials that contour to the irregular shapes of blood bags. These materials are durable enough to withstand contact with water, blood, and chemicals common to blood transfusions and storage. The adhesives featured on these labels are FDA compliant and are well matched to remain on the blood bag throughout entire use and storage. These labels are available in various quadrant configurations.

Our Blood Bag labels can be printed with desktop or portable thermal transfer printers to provide very legible images and high quality bar codes to improve positive patient identification and increase bar code read rates. We offer printer systems that utilize software that conforms to the ISBT -128 standard for blood product identification from the International Council for Commonality in Blood Banking Automation, Inc. (ICCBBA).

Don’t risk patient safety with illegible blood bag labels. For more information on the latest advances in label and bar code solutions for Blood Bag labeling, contact John Burke at 603.598.1553 or by email at john@labelingnews.com.
